Some of the clubs with players at the WC may make a slow start and then hopefully suffer a bit of burnout later in the season... let’s face it Spurs have loads who haven’t had a break, City as well and Man Utd and Liverpool to a lesser extent.
If we can start the season well and build a bit of momentum then I don’t see why we can’t be in and around the top 6 for most of the season. I think a Europa League spot and a cup run should be our aim for the season.
Hopefully we can start off by surprising Liverpool.

I think we are a fair few players away from that in terms of first team quality and also need a bit more quality in depth to our squad as if any of these new payers get injured we´re back to the mediocre players at best from the last 2 seasons!!

Could of done with Liverpool away as the first game, maybe Huddersfield at home would of been better for momentum.

If we could get top 10, playing entertaining football, bringing on the odd youngster or two and a decent cup run, then I'd be happy with that for starters.
It's going to be a relief just not to be involved in a RELEGATION battle.

It's a nice thought but the reality is that along with 13 other clubs we need to reach 40 points first and then see where we go from there.
The 2 cups are where I really want to see us make a real go of it.

There’s always one or two surprise packages every season, could one of them be us finishing in the top 4? I doubt it but anything’s possible I guess.
Like others have said I’d be happy simply to be well away from the relegation scrap from the off.
Top 10 finish
Decent cup run
Love to see Rice keep his place from last season and flourish under MP also be good for one or two others to break through (Holland & Browne maybe?)
